Metabolife Review
Review In a Nutshell
Metabolife, long a big-selling ephedra-based brand name, has just recently filed for bankruptcy due in part to the many class-action lawsuits outstanding against the company. Their current product offerings are diet supplements combining herbal ingrediants and in many cases caffeine.
How Does It Work?
Metabolife Complete approaches the pitfalls of stimulant-based diet supplements (jitters, insomnia) by offering different pills for different times of the day: Pre-Breakfast, Pre-Lunch and Pre-Dinner. Their site claims the ingrediants "help curb appetite, burn fat and reduce weight." Their advertising tends to prey on the low self-image of the chronically overweight.
Who Is It Good For?
Possible supplementary use for dieters who have other means to address nutrition and exercise.
Keys: Ingrediants
- Pre-Breakfast and Pre-Lunch: Garcinia extract (fruit) and Guarana extract (seed), 54 mg caffeine alkaloids
- Pre-Dinner: no Guarana or caffeine

eDiets - eDiets sees clearly that diet and weight loss programs are highly individual choices. Instead of a one size fits all approach, they provide a wide variety of choices and plans. We've found that customization, convenience and cost are huge factors for many seeking weight loss, and eDiets excels in all three of these areas. Their website contains solid information on food, exercise, and lifestyle change, member chat rooms, online counselors and nutritionists. Their free diet profile is a great way to get started.
